My computer is ten years old. It is about to retire. It is Hewlett-Packard and it is a tower very big, it was bought for my parents.
My appearence of desktop is very simple becose I constantly formatting for error in it.
My desktop elements are:
1 Folder name's Programs and contains all programs of my computer.
2 Shorcut of FIFA 07, game of football.
3 Shorcut of recycle bin.

The parts of a computer you can touch, such as the monitor or the central processing unit in (CPU) are hardware. All hardware except the CPU and the working memory are cold periferals.

Computer programs are software. The operating system (OS) is software that controls the hardware. Most computers running the Microsoft Windows OS. Mac OS and Linux are other operating system.

The CPU controls how fast the computer processors data, or information. We measure its speed in megahertz (MHZ) or gigahertz (GHZ). The higher the speed of the CPU, the faster the computer will run. You can type letters and play computer games with are 500 mhz CPU. Watching movies in the internet needs a faster CPU and modem.
